I got the impression from afew comments in the final episode that they may make a 2nd season of “Australia’s Greatest Athlete”. Can anyone confirm this or was it just hopeful thinking from Ricky Ponting and afew of the others?

Great question! I’ve not received any official word either, but with the success of the show and from what everyone involved had to say, I think they’d be crazy not to…

Sounds promising. I just hope the producers of the show can get someone like Chris Judd on it next season.

I really enjoyed this show and if they refine it abit (change or modify some of the challenges) it could be even better.

You could not get better television, pity it got a crap timeslot but this was pure brilliance! Pray for many more series to come…

Another series would be great - and why not Thursday night at 8.30pm before the footy show for the timeslot.  I thought the show was great and look forward to getting to know other sports people (try female) and different sports.

got some great news from a mate who works at foxtell and also billy slater they are saying that there will be a new season starting on channel 7 but time and date is yet to be decided it will probley be on later in 2010
