I really don’t hate any team. I mean, I know it was heartbreaking to lose so badly last year but they did play well so they deserve some respect.
Haha, what about AFL? I used to be really into the AFL when I was younger (Essendon fan), but I lost interest when I got into Rugby League (not Union, Union is evil).
Oh my, the rabbitohs went well this weekend didn’t they? You could tell in their last game against Storm last year that they were improving (even though we won). They’ll be a strong force this year; it all goes on a cycle. One day Storm will be the bottom team, but they’ll come back again. It’s the way it works. Years ago (2000 I believe) Essendon won every game except one, and then went on to win the Grand Final; and then they don’t even make the top 8 the last few years. But they’ll get back up; all teams, in no matter what sport, will be the top at one point or another, as well as the bottom. It’s the way life works.

Agree, I really don’t like the silver tails. mainly because Brett Stewert was getting picked as fullback for australia over billy (but that has all changed), also that orford got the dally m when billy clearly won (stupid rule, its bad enough that he doesn’t get any points the round he misses but then they go and take points off! thats screwed up) and not to mention the fact they flogged us in the GF last year. but I bet the boys would love to be up against them in the GF again and show them that last year was a fluke and with cammy smith at 9 they would be fired up! When I first started watching footy I was only watching it because of billy but now I am addicted and I love all the Storm boys. I used to hate the Bulldogs because they were so dirty but they are actually growing on me this year with some great buys, they will be up there. I have a soft spot for the raiders because they put up such a fight last year when all odds were stacked against them, and the rabits too but in saying that I hope the storm beat them all. Go the Mighty Melbourne Storm!!!!!!!

I was previously a Pies supporter but a friend of mine, who use to cheerlead for the Storm convinced me to go to a game.....and well Ive been hooked since. In that time I’ve convinced my boyfriend, my best friend, my sister and her boyfriend along with two of my workmates to become members. I’ve made it my personal mission to convert at least one person a year HEHEHE!!!! Go The Mighty Melbourne Storm!!

Thanks for that, I can honestly say, that I love the game with a passion. And apologies if I offend anyone, but Im glad that I made the switch from AFL as I didnt know what I was missing!. The really good thing about being a member down here with the Storm, is that because were kinda out there on our own amongst the AFL LOYAL, we really stick together and our numbers are slowly but surely growing. Our fan day was testament to that, compared to previous years anyway. Im looking forward to the game on Friday thank goodness its going to be played live on Nine which is a rarity, but Im grateful for sure. Go Storm!!
I try and get to melbourne once a year to see a home game, this year im going to see the Storm vs Broncos at melbourne they always fire up when they play each other, I cann’t wait for that. unfortunatly I have to wait till june to see them so in the mean time I have to be content with being an interstate member, and watch them on tv. I dont think I would survive in melbourne without foxtel! i go there for a week and I have withdrawals cause its never on tv and you dont hear anything about it!

Are you talking about me being to girly? cause I am a girl so naturally i’m going to be girly and talk about how hot billy is (the best fullback in the comp). LOL. I was shattered the broncos beat the storm on friday night, but I suppose if the refs are gay and dont know what a knock on looks like then you will win next time too!!! hehe (we will beat you next time) hopefully.

But that still doesn’t mean I think of him any less. I think he’s an awesome League player, and he comes across as a really nice guy.

yeh, billy told me that too, coz im real close with him, he llives just across the road from me. he even bought me some cake last week. AS IFF. i wish i knew Billy though, that would be so madd!! but that will only ever happen in my dreams
