This is one event that didn’t look like fun!

It really didn’t, and it seemed to throw quite a few of the guys off, check out the results of Billy’s challenge, in order:

Whincup - 8/10
Hooker - 7/10
Hurst - 3/10
Deladio - 9/10
Tuqiri - 8/10
Symonds - 9/10
Griffiths - 6/10
Slater - 9/10

They then had to go into a three-way decider:

Slater - 6/6
Deladio - 5/6
Symonds - 3/6

This takes Billy to a staggering 915 points!

How funny was Hookers foot kick then catch!

I did like Joels jumping catches too

Love to know how high one of those machines can launch a ball.
Actually forget balls, frozen chickens!

My dad and I were like “no!” when Billy missed one of his catches, so we were relieved when he won. It was so funny when Ky Hurst got hit in the face with the ball, and all his hilarious attempts.

ha but is was Joel who put on the flair for everyone. I think I would have ended up with a blood nose too if I did this challenge

Tough challenge.  Now imagine Michael Crooker running 100kmh at you when you’re trying to catch it.

Good point babyg that would not be pretty, he is one great hitman. I thought billy looked heaps more comfortable when the balls were shooting at him in the decider, thats were we saw the true billy slater. good on hurst for having a go (shame about his nose though) he he.

Billy was either too nervous or too cocky in the first part.  He was switchedon in the decider.

Well, we saw that Billy’s good at catching a high ball - reckon he’ll be any good this week at the Kick For Goal challenge?

Im not to sure about this one. I saw billy attempt to kick for goal on the footy show and he did not do to well so hopefully he’s been checking in on the AFL dudes down south and taking notes, hehe. But fingers crossed he can pull another one off and get in the top 3 (that woul be good).
