After listening to them talk between events I have to say Steve Hooker is my fav so far. Not sure he’ll win it but I like his attitude.

Billy Slater seems pretty chilled and confident and Lote just always looks like he’s having fun.

Hooker needs to put his foot in his mouth.
He has said from the start the Whincup won’t do any good, yet up until the basketball, Jamie was winning. He, for one reason or another, didn’t compete in the basketball challange, hence the reason Hooker is first.

I think you will find that Hooker came first in the basketball challenge because he got the best time, not because Wincup didn’t compete. If Wincup didn’t compete he wouldn’t have gotten 30 points for the b’ball challenge.

On another note, my fav athletes are Billy Slater and Andrew Symonds :D they are awesome!!

It’s almost a reality TV show with these athletes. As you hardly get to see this side of them

Yeah, its interesting to see these guys outside of the usual environment that we would normally. Some athletes like Symonds you see getting interviewed on TV and in a lot of other promotions all the time, but seeing other people like Hooker for example who I wouldn’t have predicted would be so talkative and chirpy is very interesting. I think its a very good mix of characters that they chose for the series.

My favourite athletes would have to be Slater and Symonds for sure.

My predictions.. 1st - Brett Deledio, 2nd - Billy Slater, 3rd - Andrew Symonds

True Hooker is making the best of it and probably has the least amount of media preparation.

Cerberus,
My previous post was wrong, i forgot about Billy lol.
When i said first i ment the total leader board
and yes i will agree there is no way Hooker would have been beaten in the b/ball.
Whincup didn’t compete in the b/ball due to the V8 Gala dinner being on the same day so he was automatically given 8th place. What i ment is that if Jamie had of competed in the b/ball, he would (hopefully and most likely smile) still be in front of Hooker in the total scoring.
Sorry for any miss-communication

Billy Slater is a Footy Legend, what a man.
I’m so glad he’s on this competition he represents league well.
Can’t wait to see him in the footy season this year.

When I found out Billy was in the competition I went straight to this website and watched all the episodes I missed, cause I love rugby league and Billy Slater is my all time favourite player. So my fav player on the show is without a doubt Billy! I’ve been really impressed at what an all rounder he is turning out to be. I think this is a great group of athletes they have chosen, they all bring something different to the table to make it a very entertaining show.

Billy Slater is certainly doing the Rugby League world proud. I read he was going to be on this show months before it started, and for ages I couldn’t find any information.

I’m so happy he’s doing so well!

Obviously he’s my favourite athlete, and he hasn’t disappointed. Can’t wait for next friday!
